The Word of the Lord that powerfully came forth was: "I am doing a new thing - it is the
season of the crossing over for the nation of Guyana." 2010 was the 40th anniversary
of the Republic of Guyana. The number 40 in the Bible is symbolic of a period of testing or
trial. Just like the children of Israel were tested in the wilderness for 40 years before crossing
the Jordan into their promised land and Jesus fasted for 40 days before He began His anointed
ministry it was the time of crossing over for this nation spiritually to come into the "new" that
God had for Guyana.
The trip was so amazing and filled with prophetic declarations for the nation of Guyana.
Even though it was so exciting and wonderful to see that souls were ripe for harvest (many
who were standing on the outside on the streets during the meeting in New Amsterdam did not
hesitate but quickly came to the altar to receive salvation) and the healings and the presence
of God were so incredible in every meeting, the Lord put an emphasis on the prophetic that
powerfully tore down strongholds and demonic resistance in the spiritual realm over this
nation. Guyana was on a threshold of a great breakthrough and the anointing and presence of
God in the meetings was much greater than even the year before. We could strongly sense that
there had been a shift for this nation into a new place in the realm of the Spirit. God had heard
the desperate cries of those hungry for revival. "...if my people who are called by my name
will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will
hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land." (II Chronicles 7:14,
NLT)
One very powerful prophetic act took place when six pastors carried the float of the Ark of
the Covenant down the streets of Georgetown in the MASH parade with our team immediately
behind as intercessors, followed the people praising and dancing behind us. When we entered into the city stadium, the presence of God was felt by the entire team something had happened in the spiritual
realm over the city of Georgetown! "Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not
know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:20, NKJV)
There were such glorious healings in every meeting. These healings brought faith to a new level as they
began to multiply. Excitement and shouting filled the tent as God did the unbelievable. A few of my favorites
were:
- A lump in a woman's breast was dissolved.
- A woman's blind eye was opened by the power of God.
- A woman who could not use one of her arms even though she had went to therapy, was totally healed.
She jumped up and down waving her arm yelling that she was healed.
- A pastor was healed of deafness in his right ear.
- A man who had suffered with pain in his chest and lungs for longer than he could remember was healer.
- We received a testimony of a pastor's mother who was healed of pain in her body while watching the TV program that I ministered on.
- A pastor had pulled out his back and was in terrible pain. It was very difficult for him to come to the meeting, but he persevered and came. While he wa standing outside the tent, God totally healed him.
I give God ALL the praise for the great things He did in Guyana! Words cannot even express the
awesomeness of our God all that we saw and all that we experienced. Wow! We are truly
living in the end days the days of a greater glory being revealed right before our eyes. |
